Paul Rudd won't return to AC/DC until Axl Rose goes
The Aussie rock band’s former drummer has expressed his desire to return to the band.
He said: “If Angus [Young] wanted me to play then that’s up to him, but I don’t really want to play with Axl Rose.
“I don’t really rate him.”
The drummer revealed he had been seriously unwell.
AC/DC are currently on their Rock or Bust world tour
He said: “I had a fucking heart attack, but I’m good now. I was just at home and I started to feel just funny. I had a strange pain in my chest.
“My housekeeper took me to the hospital where they hooked me up and did all these tests.
“Turned out I had a big heart attack. My artery was all blocked up, and they said I had to stay in and have an operation.”
Rudd was forced to leave AC/DC after drug and death threat convictions.
The drummer was replaced by Chris Slade on AC/DC’s Rock or Bust world tour.
But after lead singer Brian Johnson was at risk of going deaf, he stepped down for Axl Rose, the Guns N’ Roses frontman.
Phil was forced to leave the band after criminal convictions
The problems began when guitarist Malcolm Young had to leave the band after being diagnosed with dementia.
In July bassist Cliff Williams revealed he will step down after the Rock or Bust tour ends in September.
Without Rudd’s return, Angus would be the only original member of the band left.
