Robbie Williams back for good on Take That 25th anniversary tour? What about Jason Orange?
ROBBIE WILLIAMS and Take That’s Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen will reunite in 2017 for their 25th anniversary tour and announce new music. But will Jason Orange join them?
Robbie is rejoining Take That for their 25th anniversary tour
Donald made the announcement of Williams’ second return, after a brief run with the band from 2009-2012.
He said: “We’ve been talking to Robbie about it, and it might be that if we do a 25th anniversary album, that we do some co-writing or some extra tracks on that.”
Owen added: "I think it would be nice to do something with him.
“In our minds at the moment there’s an intention to do some new tracks, a greatest hits and a tour, then we'll see."
The band will tour in 2017 to celebrate
While fans will be celebrating, Jason Orange will still need some convincing to make a comeback.
Donald said: “I think Jay is happy where he is. I don’t think at the moment he has any sort of dreams or wishes to come back and do it, so we’re just carrying on doing our thing.
“Jason is in his place where he is now and he’s not got any intention at the moment to be back in the band.”
The current trio, made up of Barlow, Owen and Donald, are certainly feeling Orange’s absent on their 10 date arena tour.
Owen said: “Sometimes you think you're used to it, then a new thing comes along, and we do miss Jason.
“But we are a three-piece. This is what we've got to do."

Owen added: “It's our biggest arena tour. In the energy of the show you're aware that J's not there. But you don't want people to feel it's missing him.
“That said, we're respectful of J as well. We're not trying to take his place. There are things we haven't done because it was J's thing.”
The band are headlining at British Summertime in Hyde Park, London on July 9.
