Gary Lucy's six best albums
GARY Lucy, 32, is known for his roles in the TV series Hollyoaks, Footballers' Wives, The Bill and EastEnders.
OASIS: Definitely Maybe (Creation)
One of the best British rock 'n' roll debuts of all time and one of the first albums I had.
All my friends were listening and they were the cool band. Cigarettes & Alcohol was a favourite track.
PAUL WELLER: Stanley Road (Universal/Island)
More mellow than Oasis but one of the best singer-songwriters, especially You Do Something To Me.
He's pretty cool. I tried to buy his guitar at a charity auction once and was gutted when I lost out.
I like the title track and find it quite intriguing that the album was controversial
PAUL SIMON: Graceland (Warner)
This came out around the time of apartheid and is one from my father-in-law to be who is into South African music. I like the title track and find it quite intriguing that the album was controversial.
ARCTIC MONKEYS: Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not (Domino)
More recent but another cool band. Their lyrics are good and I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor is a wicked tune.
I saw them at V Festival but I was pretty drunk so I can't remember much about it.
STEVIE WONDER: Innervisions (Motown)
I like upbeat tunes but sometimes I like a nice chill. I love all Stevie's stuff. It's good at parties and when I get married on November 16 there'll be a few tracks blasting out at the reception. I got into him in my Hollyoaks days through Mikyla Dodd.
BOB MARLEY & THE WAILERS: Live! (Island)
Amazing. In my teens I listened to Marley just to chill out. No Woman No Cry is great.
I love house and dance music but they go out of fashion very quickly whereas this is timeless. I'll play this on the motorway, doing some terrible singing and head-nodding.
