CD Review: Aerosmith, Music From Another Dimension
SOUNDING invigorated by an 11-year hiatus, this is a hellraising return to form for the American rockers.
Their testosterone-fuelled guitar rock gives the record its backbone but it is tempered with some heart-on- sleeve power ballads, both the music and Steven Tyler’s vocals so powerful that you overlook some sloppy lyrics.
Despite the rock clichés, it deserves to be taken seriously.
Verdict: 4/5
