The Drunken Monkey brings Chinese Elvis to Shoreditch this Christmas
THIS December, The Drunken Monkey will feature the internationally renowned Chinese Elvis as part of its Christmas offering for East Londoners. Straight from Ricelands, this Oriental superstar promises to bring a bit of Wok ‘n Roll to Shoreditch.
Having performed in the past for the likes of Angelina Jolie, Tony Blair, Piers Morgan and Anne Robinson, Chinese Elvis will be giving the East End some Las Vegas sparkle throughout the Christmas period.
Guests at The Drunken Monkey will be able to enjoy their favourite Elvis hits, whilst feasting on the restaurant’s special 13 piece Christmas banquet. Dishes include their famous steamed king prawn dumplings, Drunken Noodles and crispy duck.
Promising to be the ultimate Elvis experience but with an Oriental twist, diners should expect to hear all their favourite hits from the King, but Chinese style.
The Drunken Monkey is a dim sum eatery and cocktail bar. First opening in 2002, and pioneering the drinking and dim sum trend, ‘The Monkey’ is now considered an East End institution.
Chinese Elvis (Paul Hyu) will perform at the Drunken Monkey throughout December at 8pm.
