Last week, Andrea Bocelli celebrated the 30th anniversary of his career with three concerts in the Teatro del Silenzio in his hometown of Lajatico, Tuscany.

On the second night, which featured the likes of Johnny Depp, Ed Sheeran, Will Smith and Russell Crowe, the Italian maestro also invited his children to perform.

His 12-year-old daughter Virginia Bocelli had performed a duet of Leonardo Cohen’s Hallelujah with him the evening before, but this time she had her solo moment.

The rising star took to the stage to give a rendition of Josh Groban’s You Raise Me Up, which you can view in the video above and a longer one from earlier this year below.

Virginia has come a long way having initially been shy about singing live and giving her first professional performance with her father at just eight.

Speaking previously with Express.co.uk, the rising star said: “The first times I sang live, I was actually very scared but after a few times you start to get more comfortable. I started to get anxious again, singing Over The Rainbow… It could go any way, really good or really bad. If you do it well, after a few times you start calming yourself down, like ‘Ok, every other time I did good.’ It’s a learning experience.”
