Left 4 Dead 3: Valve to reveal zombie sequel at E3?
FANS are hoping for a Left 4 Dead 3 announcement at this year's E3 conference.
Fans are hoping for a Left 4 Dead 3 update at E3 2016
It has been widely reported that Valve are planning to bring the popular zombie-shooter back after a seven-year hiatus.
Left 4 Dead 2 was one of the Xbox 360's most exciting titles, and is rumoured to be on Microsoft's list for the Xbox One Backward Compatibility Program.
However, it's the possibility of seeing a brand new Left 4 Dead title which has sent fans into a frenzy.
Valve are said to be currently working on a fresh game, which will apparently be released at some point in 2017.

Reports claim that Valve are planning a release in 2017
And following last year's E3 conference which failed to address any of the rumours concerning Left 4 Dead 3 (as well as Half Life 3), it is widely assumed that Valve will use 2016's event to comment on the game's future – that is to say, if there even is one.
But reports claim that production is well and truly underway, with Valve apparently making Left 4 Dead 3 a priority over a new Half Life sequel.
It is also said that like its predecessors, the game will feature four new characters each trying to make sense of the apocalyptic carnage around them.
These include a gangster called Irvin, a comic book nerd called Keenan, a Kenpo fighter called Garrett Jr and a female character called Katherine.
It is said that the sequel could feature six new campaigns
Meanwhile, Left 4 Dead 3 could also feature six separate campaigns, with some predicting future DLC releases to increase the number further.
The maps are reportedly called Inquisitor Land, Impasse, Crashland, Early Destination, Cliff-Hanger and No Mercy, while there have also been calls to increase the multiplayer co-operative team size from four to six or even eight players.
Whether Valve decide to make an announcement at E3 remains to be seen, although last year's Half Life trolling means that fans are entitled to hope for something Left 4 Dead 3-related in June.
