Deus Ex: Mankind Divided: Square Enix's E3 footage plans revealed: release date in 2015?
DEUS Ex: Mankind Divided will be one of the highlights of this year's E3, with Square Enix's briefing joining a growing list of big name titles heading for the event.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided gameplay will be shown at E3
Mankind Divided, in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, will have its first in-game footage released at the event, the publisher confirmed today.
Teasing the event on Twitter today, Square Enix wrote: "Watch the Deus Ex #MankindDivided in-game reveal on June 16th at the @E3 Square Enix conference."
Mankind Divided's announcement back in April did well to catch fan attention about the next instalment in the Deus Ex franchise, although some had a more cautious reaction to what it could mean.
Warren Spector helped create the Deus Ex original and recently shared his thoughts on what he saw in the build-up to Mankind's in-game reveal.
He commented on Reddit: "I thought the Mankind Divided trailer was pretty violence-o-rific, which bugged me a little. I mean, Deus Ex was never about killing stuff. It was about picking your own play style, which might involve killing stuff."

"In trailers, you just have to give people the most action-packed stuff you can, I assume.
"Given how well Human Revolution did at the whole choice and consequence idea I'm hoping--and have confidence--the actual game will be a little more in the 'Play-style Matters' mold."
"I don't finish a lot of games and I finished DX:HR. That'll tell you something. When I did finish it, I kinda sat back and thought, 'Wow, I just had a Deus Ex experience.' It sounded like DX and felt like DX. It was pretty cool."
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided directly follows the aftermath of the Aug Incident, a day when mechanically augmented citizens all over the world were stripped of control over their minds and bodies, resulting in the deaths of millions of innocents.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided doesn't have an official release date as of yet, although a placeholder on the Square Enix website lists 12/31/2015, meaning it could be launched later this year.
