First China, now London! Assassin's Creed leak confirms England is Ubisoft's next stop
A NEW leak has confirmed the name and location of the next Assassin's Creed game for the Xbox One and PS4.
The Assassin's Creed franchise is set to get a new instalment in 2015
According to new reports, the next instalment will be called Assassin's Creed: Victory and will be set in 19th century London.
Games website Kotaku alleges to have leaked screenshots and a seven minute gameplay video for the new title, which is in development at Ubisoft's Quebec studio.
The description reveals there will be a new grappling hook, while action occurs on top of moving trains and horse-driven carriages.
The next franchise instalment has been billed to be launching in the fall of 2015 and will precede side scrolling adventure Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China which will be of AC: Unity's future DLC pack.
You'll be able to play as a new woman assassin, Shao Jun, who was trained up in the art of killing by the series' legendary hero Ezio Auditore.
She is "hell-bent on revenge" in a storyline that transports you to 16th century China.
Most interestingly, the Climax Studios add-on switches from a behind-the-character third person run-and-kill game to a "2.5D" scroller.
