Call of Duty publisher Activision is getting ready to release a brand new season of content for Warzone and Modern Warfare 3. Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare Season 5 has a July 24 release date on PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. The new content will be available to play at around 5pm BST UK time. Needless to say, the new season will be accompanied by a big new update, which must be downloaded and installed before you begin your Season 5 adventure. Once you've installed the update, Call of Duty Warzone Season 5 will introduce new points of interest to the map, alongside new weapons, game modes and Battle Pass rewards. Daily Express will have the Warzone patch notes later today, so keep checking back for more information.

In terms of Warzone, fans will be pleased to find out that the Superstore POI will return to Call of Duty in Urzikstan.

Inspired by the original Superstore in Verdansk, the Atlas Superstore is located in the upper central-eastern side of Urzikstan.

Activision explains more: "Landing on the large roof from the plane or via redeploy is the quickest way to get into the Superstore.

"It’s a large two-story building with a good amount of cover via the skylights and air A/C units, but your goal should be to get inside as quickly as possible."

To celebrate the return of the Superstore, Activision is adding the Superstore Resurgence game mode to Warzone.

Superstore Resurgence drops 28 players into a ten-minute match with the "emphasis on who can control the roof and aisles and other chokepoints throughout the location".

"Compact combat, vicious firefights, and rapid pacing make this an instantly satisfying mode you can drop into again and again."

Supreme Resurgence will also return to Rebirth Island, and is said to be filled with "exceptional" ground loot.

According to Activision, this includes powerful meta-inspired Weapon Blueprints with cool camos. Operators will also benefit from additional health. You'll unlock the "Spilled Beans" Weapon Camo when you win a match.

Meanwhile, the new Battle Pass will contain 110 pieces of unlockable content, excluding the BlackCell variant.

New operators include WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley, who can be unlocked at Tier 0.

That's on top of two free base weapons, as well as new skins for Valeria, Mami (Rhea Ripley), Bantam, Byline, Enigma, Price, Knight’s Resolve, Ivan, and Jet.
