STAR WARS 8 The Last Jedi looks like Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Force ghost will appear, according to a Star Wars theorist.

There have been alleged leaks and rumours for around a year now, that Obi-Wan Kenobi will return as a Force ghost in The Last Jedi and/or Episode IX.
Now Star Wars theorist Mike Zeroh has unearthed a rumour from earlier this year, in connection to why the Ewan McGregor Obi-Wan solo movie has been delayed.
Entertainment Weekly’s Anthony Breznican appeared on the Rebel Force Radio podcast, where he explained why he thinks it’s likely that Obi-Wan’s Force ghost will return in the main saga.
He said: “The one reason they haven't moved sooner on Obi-Wan is that they're not done with Obi-Wan quite yet in the saga films.

Anthony added: “So I wouldn't be surprised to see an Obi-Wan thing happen beyond Episode IX.”
“There’s bound to be some reference/appearance to Kenobi in Star Wars Episode VIII or Star Wars Episode IX.”
Zeroh also pointed out in his new YouTube video how alleged leaks suggested Obi-Wan will return in voice only in The Last Jedi.
Earlier this month a new Obi-Wan Force ghost doll was unveiled, adding further speculation.

Apparently the box, which labels Obi-Wan as “Force Spirit”, makes no reference to Return of the Jedi.
Additionally the description on the package suggests this could be Obi-Wan’s Force ghost, as seen in more than just one movie.
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will be released in UK cinemas on December 14, 2017.
