Avengers: Doomsday trailer teases return of Black Panther

Marvel Studios has put out three Avengers Doomsday teaser trailers to date, revealing Chris Evans’ return as Steve Rogers, alongside Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and the original X-Men cast.

Now, a fourth piece of Marvel footage shows Letitia Wright’s Shuri returning as the Black Panther and more.

Meanwhile, directors the Russo Brothers cryptically posted: "What you’ve been watching for the last four weeks… are not teasers. Or trailers. They are stories. They are clues… Pay attention."

Over shots of Tenoch Huerta Mejia’s Namor and the underwater Talokan people, Shuri says: “I’ve lost everyone that matters to me. The King has his duties to prepare our people for the afterlife. I have mine.”

The footage then reveals she and the new King of Wakanda, M’Baku, are walking through a desert when they come across Ben Grimm (aka The Thing) of the Fantastic Four. Marvel fans will remember that Marvel’s First Family were introduced to the MCU in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. They are from 1964 on Earth-828 and have somehow travelled to the main reality of Earth-616 in the present day. How and why this has happened remains to be seen, but their entrance across the multiverse was teased in the end credits for Thunderbolts*.

Avengers Doomsday hits cinemas on December 18, 2026.
