Avengers Endgame: INTENSE Super Bowl trailer revealed
Before Chris Evans debuted as Steve Rogers in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger, one of the MCU films that preceded it has been found to have a reference to the superhero in it. Reddit user JoJosapiens found a Captain America Easter Egg hiding in plain sight in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk starring Edward Norton as Bruce Banner. And it turns out Cap has a startling connection to Abomination.
The fan wrote: “In The Incredible Hulk (2008), the Super Soldier formula given to Emil Blonsky is labeled as having been developed by Dr. Reinstein.
“In the Marvel comics, Reinstein was a codename used by Dr. Abraham Erskine, whose serum turned Steve Rogers into Captain America.”
Stanley Tucci’s Dr Erskine is not only responsible for the formula that transformed Steve Rogers into Captain America.
But also the one that transformed Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky into Abomination.

In the latter, he’s one of the attendees at Tony Stark’s funeral.
Ross is also set to feature in Black Widow later this year, although it’s not clear if it’s a flashback or not.
Meanwhile, a few weeks ago Chris Evans said he will return as Captain America in the MCU on one condition.

Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, the 39-year-old said: “It's not a hard no, but it's not an eager yes either.
“I think Cap had such a tricky act to stick the landing, and I think they did a really nice job letting him complete his journey.
“If you're going to revisit it, it can't be a cash grab.
“It can't be just because the audience wants to be excited.”
Evans added: “What are we revealing? What are we adding to the story? A lot of things would have to come together.”
Reflecting on his time playing Captain America, the star said: “Everything from Endgame was really special to me because my headspace was very much in the reflective, grateful part of it.
“You almost feel like you're living in a memory; you feel like it's almost like the moment's already passed.
“So you're really just trying to soak it in and just appreciate what this journey has been like.”
