Spider-Man Far From Home trailer with Avengers Endgame DEATH nod: Is THIS when it arrives?
SPIDER-MAN FAR FROM HOME’s new trailer, which is expected to include an Avengers Endgame death nod, is releasing next week.
Avengers: Chris Pratt teases ‘illegal’ moment on set of Endgame
WARNING SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS ENDGAME AHEAD. The next Marvel movie to follow Avengers Endgame is this summer’s Spider-Man Far From Home. Tom Holland’s second solo movie as the Web Slinger is the first MCU movie to be seen in a post-Endgame world. If anything the first Spider-Man Far From Home trailer in January was a massive spoiler for the Marvel epic.
After all, Marvel fans knew that Peter Parker, Nick Fury and Maria Hill died in Thanos’ Snap at the end of Avengers Infinity War.
Fans knew this confirmed the Snap would be reversed in Avengers Endgame, and the absence of Spidey’s mentor Tony Stark led many to believe he would die in that film.
And well, Iron Man did. The cost of bringing Peter Parker and the dusted back to life was his giving his own.
Now Trailer Track reports that a new Spider-Man Far From Home trailer has been classified by the BBFC.
The new teaser has an approved running time of two minutes, 38 seconds and passed uncut.
The trailer was rated yesterday and is expected to arrive imminently, while there are rumours it will land online early next week.
Trailer Track reckon it will hit cinemas with Detective Pikachu, which is released on May 9 in the US (May 10 in the UK).
KEVIN FEIGE CONFIRMS SPIDER-MAN FAR FROM HOME IS THE LAST MARVEL PHASE 3 MOVIE
Now considering Avengers Endgame is out, presumably Spider-Man Far From Home’s new trailer will address that film’s ending.
This would be especially appropriate for Peter to mourn over Iron Man’s death.
Hopefully, the new trailer will also address the aftermath of Hulk’s reverse Snap and the complication of the resurrected being five years younger than everyone else in 2023.
Avengers Endgame is out now and Spider-Man Far From Home hits UK cinemas on July 2.
