Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top take mantle from Alice Cooper
THE MONSTERS of rock will be heading for London this autumn as Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top are announced as star turns at November’s Classic Rock Roll Of Honour.
The annual shindig has turned into something of an old rockers convention, with previous hosts including Gene Simmons and Alice Cooper.
This year’s do will be hosted by former Guns N Roses bassist-turned wealth management guru Duff McKagen at the
Roundhouse in Camden, with Texan trio ZZ Top picking up a lifetime achievement award and Sweet Home Alabama
legends Skynard closing the show.
With Alice Cooper back in the UK for his Halloween shows, we think we’ll ditch 2012’s trends in favour of leather jackets and biker boots.
