Sophie Raworth's channel-hopping children
BBC newsreader Sophie Raworth has some tough critics at home.
The 42-year-old says her three children now know how to get round their mother’s morning routines and watch what they want on telly. “My children couldn’t be more uninterested in what I do,” Sophie tells the Radio Times.
“Whenever they’re asked if they’d like to see mummy on the TV they say yes only to get the telly switched on and then change channel to something they want to watch.”
Seems Ella, seven, Georgia, six, and Oliver, four, are not news junkies yet and always retune the radio from Radio 4 to Radio 1 which wrecks Sophie’s routine.
