Meat Loaf and Hugh Laurie to take to the stage
EVERYONE’S favourite moody medic Hugh Laurie has turned rocker and is set to take to the stage with none other than Bat Out Of Hell Meat Loaf.
Hugh plays keyboards as part of a group called Band From TV, which features fellow small-screen thesps.
But his bizarre new collaboration happened after Meat Loaf, 62, guest-starred in Hugh’s hospital drama House.
While filming, Meat Loaf gave Hugh, 50, a demo of a new song from his album Hang Cool Teddy Bear with a note asking him if he would play on the tune. Hugh replied: “Are you kidding? Yes, I’ll play!”
A source at Fox TV said: “I’m sure they will appear on stage together at some point this year.”
What next for Hugh? Wembley?
