Mancini has a corner at Ferdinand's eaterie
THEY are football rivals but Roberto Mancini and Rio Ferdinand are happy to break bread off the pitch.
Ahead of the second United/City clash last night we were told the Manchester City manager has eaten at the Manchester United and England defender’s new Italian restaurant Rosso in the heart of Manchester at least nine times in the past fortnight.
Our espresso-slurping friend in the North says: “He’s been coming in about four times a week. And when he’s not here his coaching staff usually are. They always book the same table and the restaurant’s become somewhat of a second home. It seems the Red/Blue divide isn’t such an issue for them – at least when it comes to food.”
Perhaps Sir Alex Ferguson should try booking a table?
