LATE-NIGHT drinkers will face an ‘alco-tax’ under a Conseravtive government it was announced today – but will it really put an end to Britain’s binge-drinking trend?
Shadow Home Secretary Chris Grayling promised to crack down on anti-social behaviour brought on by binge-drinking.
A four-pack of super-strength lager would rise by £1.33 and a large bottle of alcopop would increase by £1.50.
