Remonaers LISTEN: Economy boom shows that the British people know best
STILL there are Remoaners who think they know better than the British public.
Young Brexiteer: I can't get a job because of immigration
The likes of Tony Blair and Peter Mandelson assume they have some sort of special knowledge that gives them a right to interfere in the implementation of the referendum result.
How can they possibly justify such arrogance when the state of the economy provides firm proof that the voters were right and the supposed experts got it badly wrong?
The pro-Brussels elites warned that we would face an immediate recession after voting Leave.
Remoaners were again proven wrong, with the UK's GDP going up
All manner of major figures – taking their lead from George Osborne – queued up to issue clearly dubious warnings about the economic peril of Brexit.
In their wisdom the British people saw through this attempt by the massed ranks of the establishment to scare them into backing Remain.
As a consequence 17.4 million turned out to vote Leave, delivering a huge mandate for Brexit. The result: booming growth.
And in the months since the referendum the statistics have consistently told the same story: instead of ruination we have been doing even better.
The health of our economy owes nothing to membership of an integrationist political project.
It would be nice to see a few more of the Remoaners admit they got it wrong and that the will of the people must be fully respected.

Cressida Dick is the first ever woman to be head of the Metropolitan Police
The new Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Cressida Dick, the first woman to hold the post, has struck a blow for gender equality.
Far more important than her gender though is that she is the best person for the job. An outstanding officer with a long track record she was the obvious choice to take over from the hapless Bernard Hogan-Howe.
While her primary responsibility is keeping the capital safe, as head of Britain’s largest force her influence will be felt across the country. The no-nonsense Ms Dick is the perfect figure to take over such an important job and make a real difference to the way policing is done in Britain.

Duchess of Cambridge arrives in Wales for charity duties
The security of Duchess Kate was kept with the help of a police drone
In Wales cameras mounted on a drone – a small, remote-controlled aircraft – have been used by police to help keep the Duchess of Cambridge safe.
This state-of-the-art equipment goes to show that even when it comes to security arrangements she represents the modern face of the Royal Family.
