Christmas starting early
MOST Britons do not want radio stations to begin playing old Christmas hits until December 5, according to a new study.
Some will find even that too soon but spare a thought for old rockers such as Roy Wood of Wizzard or Slade’s Noddy Holder who must surely look forward every year to royalties from their monster Christmas hits of the Seventies. Given all the joy their songs have brought, only a musical Scrooge would begrudge them an extended run.
