MEASLES is a very nasty disease with potentially fatal consequences and news that Britain is suffering the biggest outbreak since modern records began 20 years ago is disturbing.
It has got to be the right thing to do.
By immunising children – especially teenagers who may have fallen through the net during the height of the MMR scare a dozen or so years ago – parents can not only protect their own offspring but help to protect their wider communities too.
