Reform UK will be the true voice of millions in our broken parliament

Each of our four new Reform UK MPs will effectively represent a million voters every time they stand up in the House of Commons.

In stark contrast, each Labour MP will speak for just 23,000 people. Remember this number when they try to dismiss us as a "fringe" or a sideshow.

The beachhead of MPs we promised will speak for over four million people who want stronger border control, lower taxes, and the dismantling of woke institutions.

Labour received the same share of votes as in 2019 but doubled their seats. Meanwhile, the Lib Dems ran a joke/comedy campaign, securing half a million fewer votes than Reform, yet they walked away with 71 seats. Sir Keir might have won a landslide, but our political system is facing a legitimacy crisis.

The new PM is already unpopular, and our MPs will challenge him. We came second in over 90 seats, including many Labour strongholds, and we will give these voters a voice under Labour rule.

People keep asking what Reform UK will do in Parliament. I can tell you this: we will campaign to end the injustice of the First Past the Post electoral system and push to reform the corrupt House of Lords. Rishi Sunak's recent appointments, stuffing it with even more of his chums, including those who masterminded this disaster, perfectly illustrates this problem.

Whoever emerges as the next Tory leader will be impossible to trust on issues like immigration, taxes, net zero, or civil service reform. They created the big state, extreme green, high-spending, open borders landscape, which will only make way for a socialist Labour nightmare.

They'll talk a good game and try to sound like Reform UK, tossing out scraps of "red meat" to lure back supporters. But they cannot be trusted.

All these problems—from the net zero industrial collapse to the immigration crisis—will persist under Labour, and only Reform UK's MPs can be relied upon to push back. We are the new opposition.

I am immensely proud of my colleagues and staff at Reform UK. The attacks came thick and fast in the campaign's final days—from the media, the blob, and several shameless Tory MPs. They tried to slander and defame Reform UK with flimsy guilt-by-association claims of "bigotry." And they failed.

These Tories used and legitimised the same tactics the left and the media have deployed against them, and it backfired. By slandering Reform candidates, the Tories revealed their willingness to turn on the very voters who were once their core support.

With the Labour vote flat, nearly all the disaffected 2019 Tory voters came over to us. And we intend to keep their support. We will not turn on them, insult them, lie to them, or let them down. Reform UK will represent them in Parliament.

The people of Boston and Skegness--my constituency--have been severely let down by the Tories. They felt the brunt of mass migration and ugly pylons will soon blight the area because of the Tory obsession with the net zero. No one asked if they wanted this.

We are grateful to every one of the four million people who backed us last night. We will not let you down.
