Big Brother is getting back to its roots
BIG BROTHER is fascinating this season. The housemates are a genuinely diverting mix of relatively ordinary people.
She mercilessly goaded and stitched up boxer Daley
There's very little posturing, aiming to shock or desperately vying for attention. We seem to have been transported back to the pioneering days of 2000 when Britain was beguiled merely by the opportunity to watch members of the human race doing common or garden things in a confined space while hidden cameras recorded their every move.
Of course there's one exception to the girls-and-boys next-door rule: scheming, manipulative and sullenly beautiful model Hazel. She mercilessly goaded and stitched up boxer Daley till his unbridled actions meant he had to be removed from the show.
Her comeuppance surely can't be more than days away. If you haven't dipped in for a visit give it a whirl, you might be surprised by the programme's subtlety.
