Cheryl and Liam Payne split: Kimberley Walsh opens up on what made relationship ‘hard'
CHERYL and Liam Payne announced they had split on Twitter earlier this month, and now, the singer's Girls Aloud co-star Kimberley Walsh has spoken out about the sad news.

Cheryl and the 24-year-old revealed they were going their “separate ways” in almost identical Twitter posts on July 1.
After the announcement about the couple of two-and-a-half years, the 35-year-old’s pal Kimberly has spoken out.
When quizzed about how the singer was doing during an interview with OK! Magazine, the star insisted she was well, following the separation.
The 36-year-old told the publication: “She’s doing great but I guess it’s just hard isn’t it?”
Kimberley went on to discuss the difficulties they faced with having conflicting schedules and a life in the public eye.

She continued: “When you have a baby your whole being and whole life changes and for her obviously having a relationship in the public eye just makes it even harder and his career obviously takes him out of the country for long periods so it’s hard.”
Yesterday, Kimberley opened up about how the former judge on The X Factor was coping with the separation.
The star said: “Cheryl's in a really good place and we're just helping each other through.”
Cheryl and Liam began dating back in 2016, and welcomed their first son together, one-year-old Bear, the following year.
The mother-of-two went on to discuss how the youngster and her son Cole had enjoyed play dates together.
“Cheryl and I do try and get the kids together,” she told the magazine.
“I wish we could do it more but it’s hard with both our schedules.
“But we do make the effort so that they have a strong connection, because when you’re friends you just want your kids to be friends!”
Reflecting on how their lives had changed over the years, Kimberley went on to add: “It's crazy to think that 16 years ago we started in a band together and now we’re going through a whole other chapter of our lives together.
“It’s really nice we’re going through the same stage.”

Writing on Twitter on earlier this month, Cheryl and Liam implied that their split was amicable, as they explained they still loved one another “as a family”.
Sharing the statement in view of her 6.43 million followers, she wrote: “We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways.
“It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family.
“Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.
