The 38-year-old made a surprise return to the Love Island villa in Friday night’s episode, which saw contestants Hayley Hughes, 21, and Charlie Frederick, 23, being dumped from the island.
It came shortly after some Love Island 2018 viewers flocked to Twitter to express their concern about Caroline “The Flack” Flack having missed the recoupling earlier this week.
But, yesterday, the ITV2 presenter treated her 1.5 million Instagram followers to an update about her day.
Sitting in her parked car as she spoke candidly to viewers, the TV host revealed she had been having the “most stressful morning” she’d had in a long time.
In the clip, Caroline spilled: “So I’ve had the most stressful morning I’ve had in ages.”

Explaining what had happened, she continued: “Puppy doesn’t sleep, wakes up every hour, both of us are knackered.”
The star then went on to reveal one rather awkward moment, which had seen a member of staff in a shop ask her to prove she was old enough to buy alcohol.
Caroline told fans: “So I went to the shop to buy my boyfriend some Budweiser to watch the football… and I got ID’d!”
Clearly delighted about being challenged about her age, the ITV favourite cheered with excitement.
In another clip, she added: “Not bad for a bird in her 30s,” before whispering: “Late 30s.”
Earlier this week, Love Island users flocked to Twitter to question where Caroline was, after she was absent for the second recoupling in a row.
One person penned: “Whatever happened to Caroline Flack? Remember her? #LoveIsland.”
“Why have we only seen Caroline Flack for one show? IS SHE JUST ON HER JOLLIES,” tweeted another.
Meanwhile, a third viewer suggested islander Samira Mighty should take over from Caroline, as the fan claimed the former West End star had been acting like a presenter.
“Samira should just take Caroline Flack’s place and be the presenter since she been acting like one lately,” they wrote.
Elsewhere on Love Island 2018, new girl Zara McDermott has sparked outrage amongst some viewers, after eagle-eyed fans picked up on a connection between the newcomer and some of the current cast members.
Ahead of her debut, the 21-year-old introduced herself in a clip which aired on the programme on Friday night.
Opening up about her background, the business development manager revealed she was from Essex - prompting some fans to point out that she was the fourth contestant to come from the region.
Viewers will see the star join fellow Essex-based stars Dani Dyer, Jack Fincham, and Megan Barton Hanson, as she steps foot in the villa in tomorrow’s episode.
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm; Love Island: Aftersun follows at 10pm.
