The 42-year-old confirmed on Instagram that she would not be attending the Royal Wedding 2018 yesterday morning.
It came following rumours that a number of the Spice Girls had not been invited to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s star-studded wedding ceremony.
Hours later, Emma updated her 729,000 Instagram followers on her day, which saw her share a stunning selfie.
Donning a veil for the snap, the star could be seen grinning at the camera.
And, after onlookers had noticed the A-lister’s had not attended the wedding, the singer addressed her absence.
Refusing to confirm whether or not she had been invited, Emma instead simply revealed that she had been unable to attend.
She wrote: “If you can’t join them, be them!”
Followers rushed to comment on the post, with one writing: “Beautiful @emmaleebunton.”
Another penned: “Looking lovely.”
“You’re gorgeous Emma,” wrote a third admirer.

Earlier that day, Emma confirmed she would not be attending the service in Windsor on Instagram.
Sharing a close-up snap of herself wearing a pink hat, the singer - who has the nickname Baby Spice - revealed she was attending a party to celebrate the royal couple’s nuptials.
“Who else is ready for today?? #harryandmeghan #weddinghat #houseparty,” she wrote.
