The 27-year-old former Gogglebox star hosted the live final from Universal Studios, Florida, alongside Declan Donnelly, 42, and Stephen Mulhern, 41.
After the star-studded episode came to a glitzy conclusion, Scarlett Moffatt told her fans how she had taken a well-deserved break to relax back in her room.
Unfortunately, the Saturday Night Takeaway star’s “nap” lasted longer than she had intended, with disastrous results.
“When you go to bed for 7pm nap and wake up 12 hours late,” she told her 659,000 Twitter followers.
“Well I think I’ve definitely missed the wrap party,” she continued, adding a crying face emoji.

Having enjoyed her long rest, Scarlett Moffatt didn’t appear to be too hung up on having missed out on celebrating the end of the series with her co-stars, staying positive as she shared sweet snaps from their week in the US.
Taking to Instagram, she uploaded a montage of pictures showing her with Dec and her boyfriend Lee to her 1.7 million followers.
“Snapshots of this amazing week,” she said in the caption. “Memories I’ll remember forever and I feel so lucky grateful to have.”
One shot showed Scarlett cuddling up to her co-host Dec as the pair beamed for the camera.
ITV favourite Dec was left to present without his long-time partner Ant McPartlin, 42, last night after the star pulled out of all TV commitments for the “foreseeable future” following his arrest and drink-driving charge.

Ant confirmed that he was returning to rehab after he was involved in a collision in south London last month, following which he failed a roadside breathalyser test.
Dec later announced that the final two episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway would go ahead in his absence, telling their 6.85 million Twitter followers: “Whilst I never thought I’d be in this position, after much discussion and careful consideration we’ve decided that the remaining two shows of this series of Saturday night Takeaway will go ahead.
“We made a promise to take hundreds of deserving winners to Florida to watch the series finale, and we will honour that.
“Everyone at ITV and the Takeaway team feels we owe it to the audience to complete the series,” he added.
At the end of last night’s show, Declan Donnelly revealed he “missed” Ant McPartlin in a backstage confession.

In a video obtained by The Sun, he made the touching remarks about his pal after the cameras stopped rolling.
“Thanks for all the love and support,” he told the crowd. “It’s been a series tinted with… well…”
“We miss Ant!” a member of the audience then shouted.
“Yes, we do, we do,” the TV star agreed. “It’s tinged with sadness.”
Dec then asked the crowds to pay tribute to Ant, saying: “Can you all give one round of applause of Ant who is at home?”
As the fans clapped and cheered, he added: “Thank you so much. I know he will appreciate that a great, great deal.”
