Since Dancing On Ice returned to ITV with a new rebooted format, speculation as to the fees which the stars receive for appearing on the show has bubbled up once again.
Although it is not known how much this year’s line-up were paid, the News of the World previously revealed figures for the 2011 contestants.
According to the now defunct publication, Kerry Katona was the highest-paid celebrity, taking home £60,000.
Former Loose Women star Denise Welch and Coronation Street’s Steven Yarnold reportedly received £50,000 each.

A source said: “Kerry and Denise are our best signings for a long time.
“They are brilliant, outspoken characters.
“But Dancing On Ice is a huge commitment and Kerry, Denise and Steven all wanted top money.”
Most of the remaining contestants were said to get £40,000, including Chloe Madeley, Angela Rippin and Vanilla Ice.

EastEnders actor Sam Atwater, presenter Laura Hamilton and “Comedy Dave” Vitty reportedly received £20,000 each.

Meanwhile, ahead of the Dancing on Ice final, Brooke Vincent was struck by a calamitous blow when Champion of Champions Ray Quinn, 29, backed either Jake or Max to win.
Now that the series has come to a close, fans are eagerly awaiting the start of the live tour.
Olympic gold medallists Jayne Torvill, 60, and Christopher Dean, 60, will both perform on the ice for just the second time this year as the show travels are the UK.
As well as six of this year’s best-loved contestants, Ray, who won the 2009 and All-Star series, will be lacing up his skates once again as he joins the line-up for the tour.
