Liz Hurley flies home after nephew is repeatedly stabbed in 'brutal' attack
ACTOR Liz Hurley has flown to the bedside of her nephew, who was repeatedly stabbed.
Miles Hurley was the victim of a 'brutal' knife attack in Battersea on Thursday
Liz, 52, said it has been an “appalling” time for the victim and her family after the “brutal attack”.
Miles Hurley, 21, and another man, suffered knife wounds in Battersea, south-west London, on Thursday.
The injuries were described as not life-threatening.
Miles, whose mother is Liz’s sister Kate Curran, 54, has followed in the footsteps of his aunt by modelling.

Liz, who was in America at the time of the attack, tweeted: “My 21-year-old nephew was repeatedly stabbed in a brutal attack in London.”
The Austin Powers star added: “The police and hospital are being fantastic. Thank you for all your messages. It is an appalling time for him & our family. The police will be appealing for witnesses.”

Hours before the attack, Miles paid tribute to Liz to celebrate International Women’s Day.

He posted a picture of her with another family member, writing: “Love and appreciation for all the strong, happy and independent women around me.”
And she has previously shared Miles’s modelling photos, tweeting: “Here’s my handsome nephew.”
A source said: “His family feared the worst. Fortunately, it seems the knife missed his vital organs.”
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “A 21-year-old man was discovered with stab wounds to his back. Another man, also believed to be aged 21, was also found suffering from stab wounds. They were both taken to hospital where their conditions are described as not life-threatening or life-changing.”
