Mel, nicknamed Scary Spice, said she and bandmates Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel C have all been invited to perform at the wedding at Windsor on May 19.
It promises to be their comeback gig after their break-up in 2008 and brief reunion in 2012.
Mel, 42, was asked on the US talk show The Real yesterday if she knew anybody going to the ceremony.
“Yeah, I’m going. I don’t know if I should’ve said that,” she replied.

Asked if she knew anyone else, she replied: “Well, us five Spice Girls… why am I so honest?”
She said they had already received the invitation and, asked if they would be performing, spluttered: “This is where I’m just like… I need to go. I’m going to be fired.”
It is understood that formal wedding invitations to guests have not gone out yet.
The Spice Girls are the best-selling female group of all-time, with sales of 85 million records.
