The dancer was seen performing with fellow professional Jason Gilkison instead of the This Morning favourite in a shock Instagram clip.
The 57-year-old was instead given the task of filming their rehearsal after her complaints emerged about the “difficult” routine.
Anton, 51, was seen whizzing around the room with the Australian choreographer, completing numerous speedy spins perfectly.
“Who’s leading? Who’s leading?” Ruth was heard asking in the fun video, as she prepares to perform to Allegretto by Bond.

Meanwhile, Anton also posted about the pair’s progress, noting Ruth’s reaction to her latest challenge.
“So, I’m doing the Tango this week, which I’m enjoying very much - it’s a great dance - but I’m finding it very difficult,” she started. “This is Anton’s impression of me when I go wrong…”
