The This Morning favourite burst into tears during training for Saturday’s BBC show, in which she will take on the Rumba.
Speaking about her emotional breakdown in an Instagram video tonight, the 57-year-old admitted she was unable to control her emotions as her third performance looms.
“I’m at QVC… I’m feeling a bit reflective,” Ruth started. “I’ve just had my hair done, well it’s not quite finished, as you can see.”
The mother-of-one, who has found herself at the bottom of the leaderboard, continued: “I’m just sitting in my dressing room, on my own.

Many of her 379,000 followers rushed to comfort her, with one user replying: “Go Ruth. Go Ruth. Go Ruth.”

Ruth and Anton, 51, will perform to Diamonds Are Forever from the James Bond film this weekend, as part of the programme’s movie-themed week.
