Doctor Foster: Gemma reminisces over her marriage
The youngster had been struggling with his parents' messy divorce and finally had enough of their arguing as he took off without a trace from a B&B.
For weeks viewers have watched the teen thrown between Gemma (played by Suranne Jones) and Simon (Bertie Carvel) as the innocent party in their break-up.
But while he may look like butter-wouldn't-melt on the BBC drama, the 16-year-old actor has debuted a dramatic new look that would probably stun his on-screen mother.
Taking to Instagram, Tom Taylor, who starred as the youngster, showcased his bleached blonde locks in a series of shots.

He could be seen grimacing at the camera in one selfie as he teased his 4,796 followers about the Doctor Foster finale.
In another shot he can be seen posing with his thumbs up as he once again encouraged his fans to tune into the BBC show.
It looks unlikely that he will reprise his role as Tom Foster with writer Mike Barlett confirming his character had gone, however he also teased that the drama could follow Gemma after his disappearance.
"You can see the ending. Tom's gone. So there's a question mark," he told Radio Times. "And I think it works as an end to this series and all the things that have been going on.

"Clearly there's potential there. But obviously there would have to be lots of conversations. We need to talking - Suranna and I and lots of people need to have lots of conversations and we'll see."
However, Tom has been very busy of late as he kick starts his acting career and has starred alongside Idris Elba and Matthew McConnaughey in The Dark Tower earlier this year.
Next year the youngster is set to star in The Kid Who Would Be King, alongside Rebecca Ferguson and Patrick Stewart.
