Serena Williams ‘doing well’ after welcoming baby girl with fiance Alexis Ohanian
SERENA WILLIAMS has given birth to a baby girl, it has been reported.

Serena Williams, 35, and fiancé, Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian, 34, are yet to confirm the exciting news themselves, but a source at the hospital is said to have revealed all.
According to Chris Shepherd from WPBF-25 News, an insider at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida said that Serena’s little one weighed six pounds and 13 ounces, and both mother and daughter were “doing well”.
Chris took to Twitter to post: “Tennis star Serena Williams gives birth to a baby girl weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Mom and baby doing well.”
Serena’s news comes after she said she was “nervous about childbirth” and had to inject herself with anticoagulants daily.

“I’m not a spring chicken,” the tennis champion commented. “The one thing I really want is an epidural, which I know a lot of people are against, but I’ve had surgeries galore, and I don’t need to experience any more pain if I can avoid it.”
Serena went on to reveal that she didn't think she was a “baby person”, unlike her other half.
The star continued: “That’s something I have to work on. I’m so used to me-me-me, taking care of my health, my body, my career.
“I always ask, ‘Am I going to be good enough?’ I know he’ll be great.”
Serena kept her followers updated throughout her pregnancy
During the interview with Vogue magazine, Alexis replied: “It’s funny that you say that because that’s exactly how I feel about you.”
Serena also announced that she will be returning to tennis after the birth of her baby.
She added: “I used to think I’d want to retire when I have kids, but no. I’m definitely coming back. Walking out there and hearing the crowd, it may seem like nothing. But there’s no better feeling in the world.
“Obviously, if I have a chance to go out there and catch up with Margaret [Court], I am not going to pass that up. If anything, this pregnancy has given me a new power.”
