The actress is amongst several stars who are rumoured to have been targeted, with intimate images making their way onto a website.
The Twilight star is said to have got her lawyers involved after the snaps were believed to be stolen from her personal accounts.
According to TMZ, her lawyer Scott Whitehead has sent a letter to the website that has shared the photos, claiming that the pictures are a violation of copyright laws and should be removed immediately.
It is alleged that the pictures show the star topless while another shows an unidentified woman's bottom half.

Miley Cyrus is also said to have been targeted, with intimate images showing her with Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell.
It has been reported that Kristen has teamed up with Stella to threaten legal action to the site.
Meanwhile, former couple Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn have also had nude images leaked, with the latter confirming she would take legal action.
Lindsey has also previously confirmed that the explicit photos, which were taken before her split from Tiger in 2015, are real.

A spokesperson for the 32-year-old told Express Online: "It is an outrageous and despicable invasion of privacy for anyone to steal and illegally publish private intimate photos.
"Lindsey will take all necessary and appropriate legal action to protect and enforce her rights and interests.
"She believes the individuals responsible for hacking her private photos as well as the websites that encourage this detestable conduct should be prosecuted to the fullest extent under the law."
