ED SHEERAN has seemingly deleted his Twitter account just hours after his Game Of Thrones appearance aired.

The hitmaker, who tweeted under the account @EdSheeran, appears to have erased his entire presence on the micro-blogging site after his cameo received a somewhat mixed reaction from fans.
Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams) heard the 26-year-old’s alter ego in the HBO epic as she travelled through the woods to King’s Landing.
Ed’s character was heard crooning: “For hands of gold are always cold, but a woman’s hands are warm…” and she later told him: “It’s a pretty song, I’ve never heard it before.”
The singer’s shock moves comes less than a month after he claimed he was planning to stop using Twitter.

Among the negative tweets about Ed’s role, one user wrote: “Absolutely hate that Ed Sheeran is in GOT, makes it all seem so fake and takes you out of it #GameOfThrones.”
Another user agreed: “That Ed Sheeran cameo on #GameOfThrones was remarkably awful. Could he have been roasted by a dragon at least?”
“Ed Sheeran just destroyed the meaning of fantasy by making an appearance on #GameOfThrones,” a third stated.

Ed previously took to Instagram to clarify his earlier Twitter remarks: “Loads of Hoo-har about me quitting stuff. I haven’t quit anything, I’m just not reading anything, except Harry Potter. Hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th yo.”(sic)
Meanwhile, despite the backlash, the Brit has landed a part in The Simpsons in a musical episode as part of the comedy’s 29th season.
It is thought he will star as a musician called Brendan in an instalment titled Haw-Haw Land, and it is not long before Lisa is truly smitten.
