Who is Piers Morgan to even comment on mental illness?
She commented: “Who is Piers Morgan to even comment on mental illness? He doesn’t suffer from it, he doesn’t live with someone who has it and he’s not a psychologist.”
Denise went on: “The more controversial and mean he can be, it doesn’t matter who responds to him, it’s just the excess of people responding to him that he seems to be enjoying.”
Sharing a link to the story, Piers hit back: “Pipe down, you publicity-starved bore. Like so many celebrities these days, you use 'mental health' as a brand-enhancing fashion accessory.”
However, Denise later responded to his accusations, saying she was “very hurt” and was a proud ambassador of charities such as Mind.
