CHRIS CORNELL passed away suddenly earlier today just hours after playing a sold out show with Soundgarden in Detroit.

Gavin Rossdale, 51, led the celebrity tributes as fans and musicians flocked to social media to pay their respects to the late rocker.
The Voice UK judge tweeted: "I am so saddened by Chris Cornell passing. @soundgarden total shock. Great man, Great band. Great loss. Love to everyone in his world."
Pop icon Sir Elton John, 70, also tweeted remembering Chris, saying: "Shcoked and saddened by the sudden death of @chriscornell. A great singer, songwriter and the loveliest man."
Jane's Addiction star Dave Navarro, 39 added: "SO SO stunned to hear about Chris Cornell! Such a terrible and sad loss! Thinking of his family tonight! RIP," he wrote.
Led Zeppelin legend Jimmy Page, 73, said: "RIP Chris Cornell. Incredibly talented. Incredibly young. Incredibly missed."

Chris' fans also took to social media to pay tribute to the Grammy Award-winning singer, guitarist and lyricist.
"RIP Chris Cornell. Here's to one of my favourite singers ever. My heart hurts," one fan wrote.
"I am in utter shock to learn of Chris Cornell's death," another added. "He was such an amazing singer and musician."
Chris' publicist confirmed Brian Bumbery confirmed the singer's death earlier today in a statement, which said that his family were "shocked" by Chris' unexpected passing, adding that they would be working with a medical examiner to determine the cause of death.
