ACTRESS Sheridan Smith stole the show on the red carpet last night after dedicating her fourth Olivier Award nomination to her late father Colin.

The 35-year-old turned heads in a 1920s-inspired black dress with lace tassels at the Royal Albert Hall.
She was one of a host of stars, including Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, to light up theatreland’s big awards night.
Cilla actress Sheridan was shortlisted for the prestigious prize for her role in the West End show Funny girl.
On learning the news she posted a picture of herself and her father three months after his death from cancer at the age of 80 saying: “No one ever does this job for awards but Olivier Awards hold a special place in my heart, dad would never let me take a date other than him nor would I want to.
