The rock legend - who is celebrating his 72nd birthday today - looked almost unrecognisable as he was pushed out of the airport by a member of staff.
Eric - who married his second wife Melia in 2002 - opted to cover his head with a baseball cap and he dressed down in a pair of tracksuit bottoms and a grey hooded jumper.
The star - who is set to bring his tour to the UK in May - was joined by his three daughters Julie Rose, 15, Ella May, 14 and Sophie Belle, 12, as he made his way towards the terminal.
Eric's latest appearance comes after it was confirmed on his Twitter profile last week that he would have to cancel his two shows at The Forum in LA after falling ill.

"The Saturday March 25th show will now be held Wednesday, September 13th. The Sunday March 26th show will now be held Monday September 18th.
"He is very sorry to disappoint his fans but looks forward to these shows."
Eric also suffers from peripheral neuropathy
It continued: "Ticketholders can retain their tickets for the new dates or refunds will be issued at point of purchase.
"In addition, Clapton will play the already scheduled two shows at The Forum September 15th and 16th."
Eric previously revealed that he suffers from peripheral neuropathy, which is a potentially career-ending condition for guitarists.
