DAME JOAN COLLINS has let rip on her daughter Tara for taking her husband's surname, something which she has always refused to do.

The 83-year-old has been married five times but she has insisted on keeping her name each time and is furious with her daughter's decision.
Tara married her second husband publisher Nick Arkle last summer and is now said to call herself Tara Arkle.
Before her wedding, she had taken her father Anthony Newley's name, who was also Dame Joan's second husband.
Speaking about Tara's decision, the actress railed: "She changed her name - and I didn't really agree with it.

"I've never changed my name. If you are a career woman, which Tara is, you're not saying: 'I'm going to give up my career, marry Peter Brown and be Mrs Brown'."
She added: "I think there's something slightly subservient about that."
Dame Joan also revealed that she is unimpressed that she still receives letters addressed to "Miss Collins".
"I've made a big name for myself as a dame," she commented. "But I still get letters addressed 'Dear Miss Collins'. And I've been a dame for nearly two years now!

It comes after Dame Joan recently celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary with husband Percy Gibson, who is 32 years her junior.
She took to Twitter to gush about her other half, commenting: "Hard to believe 15 years ago we were here at @ClaridgesHotel getting married, and here we are again still in love."
