The hitmaker caused a stir with his hand washing during BBC One's Robbie Rocks Big Ben Live, however he has since responded to the backlash on social media.
Taking to Instagram yesterday, the 42-year-old and his wife Ayda Field poked fun at the embarrassing moment with a light-hearted video.
In the short clip, Robbie repeats his behaviour, which saw him pull a face as he put a large dollop of sanitiser onto his hand in the middle of the stage in front of millions.
"Babe, do you have any resolutions this new year?" the singer's spouse is heard asking him from behind the camera.

"Yes, I'm going to give up smoking…" Robbie replies, before being approached by a fake fan, who makes it clear she wants a hug.
After feigning a, "Hi, happy new year! See you in a bit babe," he quickly reaches for a large bottle of antibacterial cleaner.

Many at home had previously taken to Twitter to comment on his blunder, with one claiming it was an "early low point of 2017".
"Not Robbie Williams' finest moment - sanitising his hands on stage after high 5-ing fans & reading lyrics to his own songs off an autocue,"(sic) another tweet read.
A third posted: "Robbie Williams touched audience members and then used anti-bac on his hands. Moment of 2017 so far."
