MINNIE DRIVER has spoken out about being sexually assaulted at the age of 17 while on holiday in Greece.

The star gave her account of the traumatic ordeal as part of a wider discussion about sexual assault against women.
The actress recalled being beaten and assaulted by a man who wanted her to dance with him but she had refused.
Discussing the ordeal on SiriusXM, the 46-year-old told host Pete Dominick: "I was on vacation in Greece, and this guy, kinda elbow-grabbed me, and said: 'You're going to dance with me'.
"I said 'no' and I pulled my arm away from him, and he grabbed me by the back of my hair. I tried to kick him, and then he punched me."

Minnie added that when she reported the sickening incident, the police blamed her for it.
"The way [the police] presented it was, 'This guy was just having a good time and if you'd gone along with it, it would've been fine,'" she explained.
"If you'd just danced with him, you wouldn't be in this position that you're in now."
The Speechless star went on to explain why she thought young women were often hesitant to speak up about unwanted attention.
She admitted that she did not know one woman who had not been affected by sexual assault
"I think young women, they've been belittled when they've said something," she commented.
The mother-of-one added that she didn't know one women "who has not had some form of sexual assault at some point in her life".
"Whether it's being manhandled, whether it's being pushed around, or whether it's actual physical aggression or indeed being raped – I know too many women," she told Dominick.
