THE last remaining Gone With The Wind cast member, Olivia de Haviland, is celebrating her 100th birthday today.
Gone With The Wind actress turns 100 years old
The party of the century - literally - was held at the Spitfire Grill at the Santa Monica Airport yesterday and was organised by Olivia's relative Spring de Haviland.
But unfortunately, the guest of honour wasn't able to attend as she was at her own private family celebration in Paris, where she has lived since 1956.
Nonetheless, partygoers attended the event at Santa Monica Airport dressed as some of the best characters from her films as a tribute.

Happy 100th Birthday Olivia!
Coincidentally, yesterday marked the 80th anniversary of the publication of Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell - so there are two major celebrations today.
Olivia's Hollywood career started a fair few years prior to her debut in Gone With The Wind, including A Midsummer Night's Dream in 1935 and many more.
To be precise, the British-American actress appeared in 49 feature films during her career from 1935 to 1988 alongside some inspiring Hollywood actors and actresses.

The actress went on to appear on Broadway three times, and for her contributions to the motion picture industry she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Many years later in 2004, Olivia was interviewed for the sixty-fifth anniversary of the original release of Gone With The Wind.
Now, 77 years on from the original release, the Centenarian's 100th birthday and accomplishments are being celebrated by all of her nearest and dearest.
