Cumberbatch said Doctor Strange is “a very strong presence in the world”.
He added: “His hands are no longer capable of the fine skill needed for delicate surgery but physically he’s still strong.
“There’s a lot of running. There’s a lot of craziness: falling, flying, jumping, fighting, punching, getting punched. It’s really rough and tumble.”
