Elton John sparks concern in wheelchair at Disneyland one day after wandering out of shop
SIR ELTON JOHN sparked fears for his health after he was spotted being wheeled around Disneyland yesterday.
Sir Elton John was spotted in a wheelchair yesterday
The 67-year-old singer took his son Zachary to the “happiest place on Earth” ahead of his fifth birthday tomorrow.
But he spent the entire day being pushed around the amusement park in a wheelchair, with the young birthday boy sitting pride of place on his lap.
It’s not known what kind of injury Elton has sustained because he had no trouble walking out of Barneys New York in Beverly Hills just 24 hours earlier.
In another twist, the I’m Still Standing hitmaker updated his 254,000 Instagram followers with his fun-filled antics by sharing a stream of photos which appeared to mask his accident.
The star had an unexplained injury
The first snap he shared showed him clearly stood up outside the park’s entrance with Zachary, his other son two-year-old Elijah and his husband David Furnish – with a wheelchair nowhere in sight.
Seeming upbeat, he captioned the picture: “And so the adventure begins… @davidfurnish @disneyland #ShareTheLove.”
In other photos the singer remained seated whilst enjoying the rides with his family.
During the outing Elton was accompanied by a sizeable entourage including three bodyguards, a nanny and their very own Disney guide.

Such a treat to take our boys on their very first trip to Disneyland today
It was Zachary and Elijah's first trip to the resort in Anaheim, California so the young boys were thrilled to experience it all – and little Elijah even got a special meet and greet with Mickey Mouse himself.
Elton shared a sweet shot of the famous Disney character embracing the tot, and said: “Mickey hugs for Elijah @davidfurnish @disneyland #ShareTheLove.”
Filmmaker David also took to Instagram to gush about the day, writing: "Such a treat to take our boys on their very first trip to Disneyland today.
“Here's a glimpse of the most spectacular Christmas parade.
"Thanks to everyone at the park for looking after us so brilliantly."
