Mark Hamill admits he keeps secrets from his wife
The 64-year-old has been rumoured to be returning to the eagerly anticipated eighth movie for a while now, but he finally took to Twitter earlier this week to confirm the exciting news.
However, what his exact role will be has been kept so under wraps that even his partner of 37 years, Marilou, is yet to find out any further details about the film.
He explained, in an interview with PC Gamer: “I'm good at keeping secrets - I don't even tell my wife.
“I don't tell her because it would be terrible if she said something to a fan and it got out. I'm still proud of the fact that I knew a year-and-a-half before anyone else that it was actually dad Vader! Now it's happening all over again.”

Mark took to Twitter to all but confirm his Star Wars return
Mark - who is contractually obliged to sport a beard for his Star Wars role but appears in The Flash as the clean-shaven Trickster - dropped his biggest hint yet that he's returning to the franchise.
A Twitter user asked him: "@HamillHimself How's the #contractuallyobligatedfacialhair coming along?" to which he replied: "Last shaved on 10/22 after final day of my 2nd #TheFlash (which airs 12/8 #XmasTrix), just in time for Ep VIII-whew!"
His iconic character has been absent from recent teaser clips and promotional pictures, ahead of the movie's December 17 release date.

The actor said of the constant secret surrounding his role: "Now it's happening all over again. I'm not even authorized to tell you I'm in 'Episode VII.' It's all secret."
As fans gear up for the release of the much-talked about film, the confirmed cast - including Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver and John Boyega as well as J.J. Abrams - appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week.
Speaking about the film, J.J. revealed: "We have a couple more colour corrections, but we’re done. I can’t tell you the relief I feel."
