Heading in the right Direction again – 1D to play BBC Music Awards
HAVING cancelled the first of three Belfast gigs this week, One Direction are doing all they can to make amends to distraught fans – many of whom were apparently left weeping as they clutched their defunct tickets to Tuesday's cancelled performance at the SSE Arena.

Not only have they rescheduled the show, which was pulled at 9pm on Tuesday evening after the warm-up act had already performed, but the lads have now also announced they are to grace the line up of the BBC Music Awards in December at the Birmingham Genting Arena.
Alongside 1D, the ceremony will feature headline acts from the likes of Mumford and Sons, Ellie Goulding and Little Mix and will be co-hosted by Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton.
We had such a blast last year so I can't wait to get back on stage and relive this amazing musical year of 2015
Confirming the news live on Radio 1 and 2, Chris, 49, said: "We had such a blast last year so I can't wait to get back on stage and relive this amazing musical year of 2015."
News of 1D's participation in the event will come as a huge relief to concerned fans amid reports that the band are planning to split next year to focus on solo projects.

ne Direction is play at the BBC Music Awards
Eager Directioners (the collective term used to describe fans of the group) can purchase tickets on the BBC Music website, starting from £39 for a restricted view pass.
If last year's awards, held at Earl's Court in London, were anything to go by, the event should be a jolly good knees up.
