HE'S certainly not afraid to poke fun at himself and this is exactly what Gary Lineker did for the latest Walkers crisps campaign.
Gary Lineker revives iconic fashion moments for latest Walkers campaign
Gary managed to successfully revive iconic fashion styles to mark the launch of Walkers’ Bring it Back campaign, which sees the reintroduction of five old flavours after strong public demand.
From punk rocker, to Britpop and even a throwback to the eighties Yuppie, Gary donned five outfits covering a span of three decades which represent when the flavours were last on sale.
After four hours in make up, five wigs and numerous props, the completed looks show Gary as you’ve never seen him before.
The images mark Walkers’ biggest ever flavour campaign, ‘Bring it Back’ which launches today, August 21.

Fans are being given the unique chance to try five packs which are in the running to make a comeback, before picking a favourite to stay on shelves.
The five flavours competing to make a comeback are: Barbecue, ToastedCheese, Lamb & Mint, Beef & Onion and Cheese & Chive.
To coincide with the campaign is also the return of Walkers Marmite flavour crisps.
The much-loved (and hated) Marmite flavour will remain on shelves alongside the ‘Bring it Back’ winner and is expected to continue to divide opinion amongst the nation.
Presenter has been working with Walkers for over 20 years
Walkers Marketing Director, Rachel Holms, said: “We have been inundated with requests over the years to bring back some of our old favourites flavours.
"The power is now in the capable hands of the British public to cast a vote and crown a nostalgic winner.”
Gary - who has been working with Walkers for over 20 years now - added: “It was a real blast from the past recreating different looks from the 80’s 90’s and 00’s.
"Trust Walkers to ask me to recreate an image from my football heyday! On reflection I think this is perhaps one best left in the past.
"Luckily though, there are also some great things from those decades and I hope people enjoy trying and voting for their favourite returning flavour."
